Emergencies
/ House Calls:
Most
problems can best be dealt with in the surgery. We ensure
that acutely ill patients are seen promptly. Please request
home visits before 10am.
Appointments:
We operate a 10 minute appointment times. If
longer time is needed you may be asked to call back for a
follow up appointment.
Repeat Prescriptions:
If a REPEAT prescription has
been authorized by your doctor, you may obtain it by phoning,
calling in or writing to the surgery. We aim to deal with
repeat prescription requests within 48 hours.
Prescriptions can be posted if a stamped self-addressed envelope
is provided.
Please note medicines do need regular
reviews to ensure their greatest benefit.
Test Results:
Patients who require follow
up consultations after their test results come back to us,
will be contacted to arrange an appointment.
Telephone advice:
The doctor will aim to return any phone call by the end of
the day. The receptionists have been instructed not to interrupt
a consultation except in emergencies.
Cancellation:
Please ensure that you cancel
any appointments that you longer require so that the time
can be given to someone else.
Change of Address
/ Telephone number:
Please notify us know if you
move house or you change your telephone number
so that we can update our records on computer.
